Haro Warudo!!!
So I’ve been doing some summer cleaning and it’s come to my attention that I have sheets of notes, media CDs, and random printouts in way too many boxes and folders that I either forgot about or haven’t bothered to track down for lessons. Some items reminded me instantly of the lesson ideas that I had, but most items are drawing blanks. There’s this unexpected sense of loss and it’s bugging me.
It got me thinking about the comments I’ve made that’s scattered all over the Net under too many names and e-mails that I’m starting to forget the passwords. Some of my comments were long and would be more appropriate as a blogposts here. Collectively they are evidence of my, I hope, progress and growth as a teacher and educator. I guess I could use Google Reader to track myself by subscribing to a feed of a blogsearch like the one I have of Diane Ravitch, but I think it’s time I do something about it and start collecting and organizing them in one place. That, essentially, is this blog’s raison d’etre.
